I am writing this letter to endorse Taylor Knuth in the race for Ogden City Mayor.

The tenets of Taylor’s campaign are the very tenets of Ogden’s unspoken magic: community, connection, and character!

Ogden is diverse, unique, outdoorsy, genuine and home. Ogden’s greatest assets are community and connection. We need a mayor that will protect and enrich the special character of Ogden, and a mayor that will lead Ogden with vibrant enthusiasm, forward-thinking initiatives, integrity, thoughtfulness, and kindness.

In all of my interactions with Taylor, I have found him to be calmly confident, uplifting, visionary, and passionate. He is a good listener. I believe Taylor will take to heart our concerns and ideas, and work hard to incorporate us, as citizens, to drive important decisions.

Taylor has lived in Ogden most of his life. He has gone to school here, invested resources here, and volunteered here, just like the rest of us!

He impressed me recently by going to work to help ensure that our beloved Marshall White Center be valued and rebuilt as a stronghold and safe place for the mental and physical health of our citizens.

Taylor believes that our city should aggressively prioritize the environment.

Taylor has the professional and policy experience needed to lead. He has been in public service for over a decade, focusing on economic development and making our community a better place. Taylor is committed to public safety, enhancing public health, revitalizing public spaces, and bringing us all together for the greater good of Ogden.

Ogden’s mayor has the ability to shape our city’s present and future. We can’t know what our new mayor will face in a 4-year term, but I am confident that Taylor’s strong values will guide his decisions, the way he interacts with people, and the way he represents us.

I am proud to endorse Taylor Knuth for Mayor of Ogden, and I hope you will join me in voting for Taylor.
