It is an honor to endorse Ben Nadolski for Ogden City Mayor. I have a unique perspective of Ben as I recruited him to play football at Weber State in 1997, and experienced his work ethic and a “can do” attitude first-hand. Throughout his recruitment, I also observed his competitive spirit, authenticity, character and kindness. He brought those traits with him to Ogden over 20 years ago, and I’m pleased that I see those same things from Ben today.

Ben was a great player for the Wildcats and is part of the story of the resurgence of football excellence at Weber State. He was a leader on our team and has become an outstanding leader in not just Ogden, but Utah as a whole. Whether through his work with the legislature and the Division of Wildlife Resources, or building opportunities for all youth in Ogden to compete in sport and gain essential life and leadership skills, Ben is all in.

His background as a former WSU football player has shaped his life and it’s no surprise to me the success he has had in his career, just as it’s no surprise that he’s running for Mayor on a platform building community by investing in people. That’s just who Ben is.

Everything Ben does, he does with his whole heart. And just like he played hard for us on the football field, he has and will continue to work hard for Ogden.
