The Second Amendment, contrary to Republican belief, is not the Second Commandment. It didn't come down carved in stone from Mt. Sinai insisting that we rush out and buy a military-style assault rifle.

Republicans mistakenly confuse the two. They stubbornly refuse to deal with our country's bloody gun problem. Nor, mysteriously, will they deal with women's reproductive rights, the climate crisis, or Big Pharma's obscene drug costs, to name just a few. Joe Biden, on the other hand, is aggressively dealing with all of these.

Abraham Lincoln must be turning in his grave witnessing what's happened to his once-respected political party. Its deluded adherents now pay worshipful reverence to a twice-impeached, quadruply-indicted, would-be dictator.

Historians will be occupied for decades trying to understand this bizarre phenomenon.
