Letter: Ogden Councilwoman Choberka would be great state lawmaker
In the Standard Examiner July 6-7 issue Angela Choberka described her support for public service employees in Weber County. I became acquainted with her through her husband, Matt Choberka, a fine art painter and faculty member at Weber State University’s art department.
Angela is now running for the Utah State Legislature and I am sure that she will bring to our state the same conscientious clear thinking that she has exhibited as Weber County councilwoman for the past 6 1/2 years. I have not spent a whole lot of time with her yet I can say with confidence that she is bright, friendly, caring and savvy. I got to know her quickly as we talked about her legislative goals and my sculpture show, “I’m Roofless NOT Homeless”, at Ogden’s recent Juneteenth celebration. Angela Coberka has my vote!
