Wokeism is now pervading our medical schools. Physicians used to be the most respected profession, but since the debacle of covid-19 there is much distrust around the country. Diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) is now so stressed in medicals schools, that many are encouraging the public to only see doctors over the age of 40. Physicians are not chosen for their merit but for their wokeness. Meritocracy is gone, now race and equity are king. You want your electrician, plumber and doctor to be the best, not the most woke. Our medical schools are depriving the students of their education in order to teach wokeness. To get accepted into medical school, it is more difficult if you are Asian, non-diverse, an academic scholar or have meritocracy.
