I just have a simple question: When WAS America great?

Was it great when the explorers and newcomers came over and took the land from the Native Americans?

Was it great when the Declaration of Independence provided rights to white men only, excluding women, Native Americans and African Americans?

Was it great that women weren’t allowed to vote until just over a hundred years ago or have any rights at all?

Was it great when slavery was accepted as the norm?

Was it great during all the wars or when the Japanese citizens were banished from their homes, with their property and businesses taken away and they were sent to internment camps?

Has it been great for all the Veterans who served our country and can’t get the healthcare and benefits that they deserve?

Is it great that women are still not getting paid the same amount as men while doing the same job?

And men are deciding what women can do with their own bodies?

Please tell me when America was great.
