Letter: Commentator will be judged for his criticism of LDS Church
Regarding Keith Burns' frequent anti-Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints guest commentaries.
First of all, Mr. Burns, you or one of your contacts have violated Sacred Covenants that you have made with God HIMSELF in one of his Holy Temples: "God will NOT be mocked."
Secondly, it is extremely fascinating to me that you who seem to know so much about this church and don't know about one of the most fundamental truths of it. See Articles of Faith #9. Also see Doctrine and Covenants 121:37.
I personally do believe that we do have a mother in heaven. But just as with my eternal companion, I would NOT want her name taken in vain by many many people on a daily basis as they regularly do with Heavenly Father's and Jesus' names. See Exodus 20:7.
I will try very hard to forgive you, Mr. Burns, but in the end it is the Lord Himself that you will be required to answer on a permanent basis to.
