Letter: Gadianton robbers are in DC, but Trump isn’t one of them
Regarding the Guest Commentary by Matthew Miller of September 28-29: The Standard Examiner headline is correct–the Gadianton robbers are here. But, whatever you may say about Donald Trump, he is NOT a Gadianton robber. He can’t keep a secret, he can’t play in the sandpile with others, he’s WYSIWYG–what you see is what you get. The Gadianton robbers in Washington, D.C. hate Trump because he won’t join them. There have been two assassination attempts against him. In Ether 8:23, Moroni says, “. . . suffer not that these murderous combinations shall get above you . . .” That ship has sailed. The “murderous combinations” have been above us for decades. I think most of the politicians in Washington, D.C. are Gadianton robbers. Harry S. Truman said, “You can’t get rich in politics unless you’re a crook”. Helaman 6:40 describes our situation: “And thus we see that they [the Nephites] were in an awful state, and ripening for an everlasting destruction.”
