I can’t stay quiet any longer. I’m a 65 year old republican, and I’m shocked, disgusted, and ashamed of my Party. It’s no longer the Grand Old Party, it’s the Donald Trump CULT. And if you’re not MAGA, you’re the enemy. What kind of thinking is that?

I believed in the past GOP that Mitt Romney represents with integrity and honesty. He condemns Trump. But even he can’t tolerate the Republican’s corruption so he’s quitting. And that is our loss.

In short, Donald Trump has been convicted of sexual battery. He’s convicted of 34 fraud felonies for paying a porn star to keep their affair quiet. He stole classified, top-secret documents, kept them in his bathroom, and refused to give them back. He tried to overturn Georgia’s election results and destroyed the lives of 2 election workers in the process. Then there’s the January 6th insurrection that he caused where police officers died. And, he boasts how he alone got Roe overturned, and destroyed a woman’s right to control her own body.

Donald Trump is a bully who only thinks about himself. He believes he’s above the law. He wants us to fear each other and preaches violence and hate. He degrades people calling them vermin and poison, and he disgraces our Military calling them losers. Trump is mentally unstable and unfit for office.

I called my local republican leaders and I’m disgusted that they support this sexual abusing, CONVICTED criminal. Moore-Supports. Lee-Supports. Maloy-Supports. Owens-Supports. Curtis- Afraid to comment. And here’s a shock. Even Republican Vice-President, Dick Cheney is voting for Harris because he says, “Trump is a grave threat to our republic”.

It’s just too much! I believe the Constitution is hanging by a thread and it’s up to us to protect it. This is not about politics. This is about freedom and the ability to make our own choices. Women, make your voice heard. Utahns, you don’t have to vote republican. This is not about politics. This is about democracy and freedom. I’m a Republican voting for Harris / Walz.
