Letter: Republicans’ questionable decisions may affect how I vote
Ever since I qualified to vote, I have found my philosophy to be more in line with that of the Republicans. This did not keep me from supporting Democrats with whose views I could agree. That did not happen often. However, within the last decade I have noted with concern an ever increasing effort by the Republican party to exclude the public from its decision making process. Their calendar must be kept secret? In my messages to the representative, only one responded. What do they want to hide? Now, if judges’ decisions do not agree with their points of view, we must change the law!
This puts me in a bind. I don’t feel I can support those candidates who insist on following these trends. My vote will go to Democrats whose philosophy might align with mine. I have yet to make a decision.
