Letter: Pedestrians should look up from phones
As my wife and I drive through the Ogden area and elsewhere running errands and going to restaurants and shopping, we are amazed by the amount of pedestrians who are walking on the sidewalks and looking at their cell phones. They have no idea what is in front of them. It could be a hole in the sidewalk or an obstacle in front of them. Then, when it is time to cross the street, they do not look to the right, left or in front of them, they just step off the curb and continue on with their eyes still on their cell phone. Come on people, wake up! The life you save could be your own.
