His dedication and many years of service in two terms as Mayor, former member of the City Council and Planning Commission and also in 2012 as the Chair of Roy’s 75th Diamond Jubilee, has benefitted us greatly.

As the Mayor, Bob’s previous military service and a career as the Vice Director of the 309th Maintenance Wing at Hill Air Force Base, the knowledge and skills he acquired have been invaluable in leading our community to successful outcomes in establishing cooperative relationships with other governmental agencies and guiding the City Council on decisions for the planning, budgeting and day-to-day management of our great city.

I would strongly encourage the new Mayor and Council to follow his lead going forward by seeking out and listening to constituents while evaluating all items brought to their attention not on emotion but with honest, statistical evaluation and best management practices.
