They passed SB 153 that removes our voters privacy protection. Not that we don’t have enough private info out there already, but now our legislature has given more out to the public.

This is just a few of the items they are giving away: voter ID number, voting, precinct, party, affiliation, status as a voter, and list of elections in which you have voted. The list goes on.

With this new info, you can plan on more junk mail coming to you and surely you will be receiving a ton of requests from legislators to send them some money for their next election or at least please vote for them.

I encourage you to get in touch with your legislators and let them know how you feel about this prior to May 25, 2026.
