Teenager in critical condition after ATV collides with truck in Box Elder
YOST — A teenager was transported to the hospital in critical condition after getting in a wreck on an ATV on Saturday, May 28.
KUTV News reports that a 17-year-old boy from Perry was struck by a truck while riding an ATV on a back road near the Utah-Idaho border.
The boy and his father were riding up a hill at the same time the truck was coming in the opposite direction and collided head on with the teen, according to Fox13 News. The teen was not wearing a helmet.
A medical helicopter transported to the teen to Ogden Regional Medical Center for surgery. Police say the teen will likely recover, according to KUTV News.
