Police say Joshua Michael Aders was working at the American West Heritage Center Farm in Wellsville Thursday morning as part of a work release program, according to a press release from the Cache County Sheriff’s Office.

Around 11:45 a.m., Aders reportedly stole a pickup truck and drove away.

Aders was last seen in Wellsville wearing black and white striped pants, a bright green t-shirt and black boots. The pickup he reportedly stole is a 2005 white Ford Ranger with an orange light at the top of the cab and a diamond-plated toolbox in the truck bed. The Utah license plate on the pickup is D450Y.

Anyone seeing the pickup or Aders should call 911 immediately or contact the Cache County Sheriff’s Office at 435-753-7555.

Aders is described as a 32-year-old man and is 5′ 11″ and 160 pounds. He has blue eyes and brown hair.

Aders was serving a sentence at the Cache County Jail on convictions of theft, fraud, failure to appear warrants and drug-related crimes.
