Ogden police investigate shooting, two teens injured

OGDEN — Two teens sustained non-life-threatening gunshot wounds in an incident in Ogden late Tuesday evening.
According to a statement Wednesday, Ogden police received reports around 10:40 p.m. of gunshots in the vicinity of the 600 block of Cross Street. On arriving, police found two males, a 14-year-old and 16-year-old, with the gunshot wounds. They provided first aid before the teens were taken to a hospital for treatment.
“The incident appeared to be isolated, with no threat to the public. The investigation of the incident is ongoing,” said the police statement. Given the age of the teens, officials provided no additional information.
