Six displaced following Friday morning fire at Ogden home

OGDEN — No injuries were reported following a structure fire in Ogden on Friday morning.
According to a press release from the Ogden City Fire Department, fire crews were summoned to the 2900 block of Jackson Avenue at around 6 a.m. Friday with reports of fire coming from the structure.
“Upon arrival, crews found active fire coming from the front of the home,” the release said. “Crews quickly mitigated fire conditions. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation. Damage is estimated at $200,000.”
No injuries were reported from the incident, but three adults and three children were displaced as a result of the fire.
Firefighters from Ogden and South Ogden responded to the incident.
