OGDEN — A 24-year-old man allegedly pulled a knife on another driver during a road rage incident Tuesday, according to charging documents.

Just before 5 p.m., Christopher Torres allegedly cut off another driver, stopped in the road in front of him and got out of his vehicle. Torres allegedly pounded his fists on the hood of the man’s car, damaging it.

The man told police he drove away and Torres followed. The man stopped at a nearby convenience store, where he called 911, then Torres drove away. The driver said he followed Torres to get his license plate number. Torres allegedly stopped, got out, pulled a knife and shouted threats at the driver, according to an Ogden police arrest affidavit.

Police said Torres admitted to punching the man’s car hood, pulling a knife and yelling threats.

Torres was booked into the Weber County Jail on suspicion of third-degree felony aggravated assault and class A misdemeanor criminal mischief.
