“Built for More” is the name of Tebow’s event, as the 2007 Heisman Trophy winner and 2023 College Football Hall of Fame Inductee visits the Ogden community for “a night to be encouraged, challenged, and reminded that you were made for something more,” according to the event website.

The event is slated for 5 p.m. inside Washington Heights Church. Admission tickets begin at $77.50.

Tebow is a longtime Evangelical Christian and utilizes his platform as a former professional athlete and media personality to drive his ministry and philanthropic efforts, including the Tim Tebow Foundation, which funds orphan care and children’s hospitals in 115 countries.

Born to two Baptist missionaries, Tebow, an outspoken pro-life advocate, had his life threatened by abortion when his mother, Pam Tebow, contracted amoebic dysentery and her doctors recommended terminating her pregnancy while she and her husband were serving in the Philippines. The young Tebow was born healthy in August 1987 at a hospital in Makati City.

Tebow grew up to lead the Florida Gators to two national championships (2006, 2008) and become a first-round NFL Draft pick by the Denver Broncos, who selected him 25th overall in 2010. Outside of football, Tebow has pursued careers in professional baseball and as a television broadcaster and commentator at ESPN.
