Prep basketball roundup: Ben Lomond boys take 7th straight, Northridge girls win by 57
SALT LAKE CITY — Ben Lomond High boys basketball used a 26-17 fourth-quarter advantage to win at West (0-8) for the Scots’ seventh straight victory, taking a 60-51 decision Tuesday.
Preston Williams led Ben Lomond (7-3) with 13 points. Kekoa Beard added 12 points and Jake East scored nine.
COPPER HILLS 56, SYRACUSE 48
WEST JORDAN — Syracuse trailed 38-35 after three quarters and Copper Hills (8-2) pulled away.
Carter Semrow led Syracuse (2-5) with 14 points and three 3-pointers. Kaden Ericksen scored 12 points and Brevin Hamblin added 10.
OLYMPUS 85, VIEWMONT 43
HOLLADAY — Viewmont managed a 32% shooting clip while giving up 58.6% to a 7-1 Olympus team.
Radek Pulsipher led Viewmont (3-6) with 10 points. Scott Noel added eight points and eight rebounds.

RIVERTON — Roy led 7-5 after one quarter before tournament host Riverton slowly pulled away.
For Roy (1-8), Elijah Sowards scored 14 points and added four rebounds. Spencer Bessinger totaled seven points and four rebounds.

RIVERTON — Roy was outscored 16-6 in the final quarter and lost to Elko (Nevada) at the Riverton holiday tournament Monday.
