Ogden High’s (11-11) girls basketball team drew the No. 11 seed, which means the Tigers travel to face No. 6 Layton Christian (12-9) at 1 p.m. Saturday in the second round. The two teams split the regular-season series this season with the home team winning each time.

Ben Lomond (11-10) drew the No. 14 seed and hosts No. 19 Union at 7 p.m. Wednesday. The winner will face No. 3 Morgan (17-6) in the second round at 1 p.m. Saturday. The Ogden-LCA winner faces the Morgan-BL winner in the quarterfinals.

In the 3A boys tournament, Morgan (15-6) is the No. 5 seed and hosts No. 12 Carbon at 7 p.m. Friday in the second round.

No. 13 Ogden (8-12) is at Region 13 champion No. 4 Grantsville, against whom the Tigers went 1-1 in the regular season. The Morgan-Carbon winner faces the Ogden-Grantsville winner in the quarterfinals.

Ben Lomond (2-19) is the No. 19 seed and will head to No. 14 North Sanpete for a first-round game at 7 p.m. Tuesday. The winner faces No. 3 Emery in the second round. The Scots lost to North Sanpete 65-54 on Feb. 1.

In 2A, No. 13 St. Joseph Catholic’s (9-11) girls team hosts No. 20 Utah Military Academy (4-12) in the first round at 7 p.m. Wednesday, with the winner facing No. 4 APA-Draper in the second round Saturday.

The St. Joseph (8-13) boys team is the No. 17 seed and will head to Region 17 counterpart No. 16 Waterford for the first round at 7 p.m. Tuesday. The winner faces No. 1 Enterprise in the second round.

The Jayhawks split the regular-season series with the Ravens. St. Joseph has been headed by interim head coach Chad Loosemore since Aaron Schrader resigned on Jan. 31.

Utah Military’s (4-12) boys team is the No. 21 seed visiting Rockwell in the first round on Tuesday.
