Ogden High is No. 2, Morgan No. 4 in upcoming 3A girls soccer playoff tournament

The Tigers are 14-2 overall with a 100-12 goalscoring margin. They have four double-digit goalscorers: Nevaeh Peregrina (20), Ruth Larsen (19), Bella Gray (13) and Kate Pulley (11), plus a defense that’s kept eight shutouts.
Morgan is the No. 4 seed in the 3A playoffs with an 11-4 record. Both teams have a first-round bye and will host second-round games Oct. 11.
Ben Lomond is the No. 10 seed with a 6-8 record. The Scots head to Carbon for a second-round road game Oct. 11, as both teams have a first-round bye, since 3A only has 18 teams and therefore just two first-round playoff games.
Second-round kickoff times have tentatively been scheduled for 4 p.m. Oct. 11. Canyon View High from Cedar City is the No. 1 seed with a 15-2 record.

3A TOURNAMENT
The 3A tournament begins Saturday and runs through Oct. 21. The first three rounds are contested at home sites, with the quarterfinal round scheduled for 1 p.m. Oct. 14. The semifinals are scheduled for Oct. 19 at Zions Bank Stadium in Herriman. The final is scheduled for 2 p.m. Oct. 21 at America First Field in Sandy.

- No. 15 Providence Hall/No. 18 Summit Academy at No. 2 Ogden.
- No. 13 North Sanpete at No. 4 Morgan.
- No. 10 Ben Lomond at No. 7 Carbon.
