MORGAN — Jett Beckstrom netted a hat trick as Morgan High boys soccer ran past Ben Lomond 7-2 on Wednesday.

Trace Henderson scored a brace for Morgan (10-2, 8-1 Region 13). Cody Adams and Connor Wirick each scored one goal. Beau Johnson had two assists while Zach Dredge, Nate Haws and Noah Kinney each assisted one goal.

Angel Hernandez and Kevin Aguilar scored for Ben Lomond (5-7, 5-4).

LAYTON CHRISTIAN 3, COTTONWOOD 0

LAYTON — Tito Souza kept a clean sheet as Layton Christian stayed perfect with a region win over Cottonwood.

Felipe Magalhaes, Luiz Henrique Pereira and Yan Simas each netted once for Layton Christian (9-0, 5-0 Region 10). Joaquim Diniz had two assists and Vitor Cabrera added one.

WEBER 3, FREMONT 1

PLEASANT VIEW — Garrett Graves had a goal and an assist as Weber beat Fremont.

Rhett Hogge and Luke Pack each netted for Weber (5-4, 2-3 Region 1). Harry Younger and Braxen Curtis each assisted one goal.

Cash Carter scored on a Payton Clark assist for Fremont (5-4, 3-2).

OGDEN 9, UNION 0

OGDEN — Xavier Peregrina kept a clean sheet and Ogden scored six goals before halftime in a big win over Union.

Ben Points led Ogden (9-3, 6-2 Region 13) with three goals and two assists. Luis Velasco scored a brace. Adam Jenks, Taylor Pierce and Eli Robinson also scored goals.

KAYSVILLE — Davis scored the winning run in the bottom of the sixth inning to beat Fremont.

Owen Talbot tripled and scored a run for Davis (11-3, 3-1 Region 1). Seth Jarmin hit a double. Carter Garrett and Wally Grant each hit an RBI single. Croydon Christensen earned the win with no hits and three strikeouts in 1 2/3 innings.

Brigg Grange batted 2 for 4 with a double for Fremont (10-4, 3-1). Garet Jones added two hits and drove in one.

SYRACUSE 5, LAYTON 4

LAYTON — Carson Miles had two hits and drove in three as Syracuse won at Layton.

Jake Hopkins earned the win for Syracuse (6-7-1, 3-2 Region 1) with four hits and eight strikeouts, and had two hits at the plate.

Layton (9-5, 2-3) got two doubles and two RBIs from Fish Manning. Eli Anderson hit 2 for 3 with one RBI.

FARMINGTON 9, WEBER 3

FARMINGTON — Gage Farr batted 3 for 4 with a double and an RBI as Farmington downed Weber.

Landon Leavitt hit a two-run single for Farmington (3-11, 1-4 Region 1). Max Pearson and Austin Rees each hit an RBI single. Rees got the win with seven hits and four strikeouts in six innings.

Tyce Abbott batted 2 for 4 with a double and two RBIS for Weber (6-9, 2-3). Jarett Hill had two hits and one RBI. Ridge Torman hit a double.

ROY 3, BOX ELDER 2

ROY — Bryce Bagby batted 2 for 3 with a double and an RBI to lead Roy to a region win over Box Elder.

Cameron Baty and Tyler Clark each had two hits and drove in one for Roy (3-11, 2-2 Region 5). Parker Skidmore earned the win by striking out seven and allowing five hits in 6 1/3 innings.

Dylan Rodriguez hit an RBI double for Box Elder (6-9, 1-4). KJ Argyle batted 2 for 4. Landon Golman hit an RBI single.

BEAR RIVER 10, SKY VIEW 0

GARLAND — Talon Marble batted 3 for 3 with two triples and a double, drove in two and scored three runs to lead Bear River past Sky View in five innings.

Kolton Summers hit a double and pitched a complete game with two hits and one strikeout for Bear River (15-6, 8-3 Region 11). Holden Potter and Michel Sanchez each had two hits with Sanchez driving in two. Gehrig Marble drove in three on one single and two sacrifice flies.

MORGAN — Brigham Spens batted 3 for 4 with a double as Morgan downed Providence Hall.

Benjamin Harden hit an RBI triple for Morgan (12-7) and Tryker Jones added a triple. Luke Bauerle went 2 for 3 with a double. Beck Sheffiled had two hits and two RBIs. Ryder Waldron pitched five innings with five hits and three strikeouts in the win.

WOODS CROSS 20, BONNEVILLE 0

WASHINGTON TERRACE — Jaxon Hymas and Andrew Hansen got the only two hits for Bonneville (7-7, 0-4 Region 5) in a region loss to Woods Cross (8-7, 4-0).
