WASHINGTON TERRACE — Jake Ross batted 4 for 4 with three RBIs and three runs scored as Clearfield won at Bonneville in five innings.

Hudson Meyer batted 2 for 3 with one RBI for Clearfield (6-10, 2-3 Region 5). Peyton Kotter hit an RBI double. Spencer Portillo hit a two-run single. Ryan Frei hit an RBI single and pitched a complete game with five hits and five strikeouts.

PLAIN CITY — Fremont scored three runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to take a 16-12 lead and beat Syracuse in a game that featured 25 hits.

Savannah Palmatier batted 2 for 2 with a home run and five RBIs for Fremont (5-3, 3-1 Region 1). Jessica Broadbent homered and drove in two. Ivee Johnsen had three hits and drove in three. Rylee Andreasen hit a double and a single. Ayzlee Sessions earned the win with seven hits and two strikeouts in 2 2/3 innings.

Olivia Harker hit two home runs and drove in four for Syracuse (7-6, 2-3). Jazmine Prathan batted 2 for 4 with a home run, two RBIS and three runs scored. Oaklee Derrickson hit a solo dinger.

BOUNTIFUL — Kaylee McAfee batted 3 for 4 with two doubles and an RBI as Bonneville grabbed a region win at Viewmont (6-9, 4-5 Region 5).

Annie Stevenson batted 3 for 4 with a double for Bonneville (13-2, 7-1). Baylee Andreasen went 2 for 4 with a triple and drove in two. Chandlyr Noble batted 3 for 4 and pitched a complete game with six hits and nine strikeouts.

BRIGHAM CITY — Kennadie Blackmer batted 3 for 3 with two doubles and two runs scored to lead Box Elder to a five-inning shutout of Clearfield.

Kellie Malan gave up three hits and struck out five in a complete game, and batted 2 for 3 with a double and three RBIs for Box Elder (14-4, 6-2 Region 5). Brooke Richards and Alexis Hales each had two hits and drove in two, with Richards smacking a double.

Samuel Cruz led Weber Weber (9-7, 2-3) with 15 kills. Tate Vernon added 10 kills and Dallin Hurd had 14 digs.

PLAIN CITY — Syracuse swept Fremont by scores of 25-7, 25-12, 25-19.

Davis Caldwell led Syracuse (10-6, 5-0 Region 1) with seven kills and two aces. Joshua Godfrey had two blocks. Caleb Roskelley tallied 14 digs and 19 assists.

OGDEN — Morgan won at Ben Lomond 25-20, 25-14, 25-10.
