LAYTON — Ryann Jensen netted a brace to lead Layton High girls soccer past Fremont in a 5-1 decision Thursday.

Calli Holje had a goal and an assist for Layton (6-1, 1-0 Region 1). Anna Ward and Hannah Stander each scored one goal. Kenadee Godderidge tallied three assists and Milly Smith assisted once.

Jerzee Watson scored in the 51st minute to get Fremont (3-4, 0-1) on the board.

NORTHRIDGE 3, BOX ELDER 2

BRIGHAM CITY — Northridge held on after two Box Elder second-half goals for a region road win.

Allie Poff had a goal and an assist for Northridge (5-3, 3-2 Region 5). Sophie Sivulich and Abby Olsen each netted once, and Carsen Reiva assisted one score.

Halli Wright and Milley Barber each scored for Box Elder (4-4, 2-3). Brooklyn Hadfield tallied one assist.

BONNEVILLE 3, WOODS CROSS 1

WOODS CROSS — Bonneville led 2-1 at the half in a region win at Woods Cross (2-6, 2-3 Region 5).

Kambry Dalton netted a brace for Bonneville (5-2, 3-2). Liliana Amarillo tallied a goal and an assist. Miley Falk and Meili Larsen each assisted one score.

ST. JOSEPH 10, PROV. HALL 0

HERRIMAN — Addison Doebler and Cicily Flores shared the clean sheet and St. Joseph led 9-0 at the half in a shutout over Providence Hall.

Abigail Gough tallied five goals and one assist for St. Joseph (3-2). Sofia Evans had two goals and two assists. Cicily Flores added two goals and Alexsen Willardson scored once. Preslie Thiel, Anysia Pinchak, Sophia Ortiz and Kaylin Anguiano each added one assist.

OGDEN — Ogden picked up its first win of the season by sweeping Logan. Scores were 25-11, 25-13, 25-21.

Tess Correa tallied 13 kills and Lauretta Taukiuvea added 12 kills for Ogden (1-4). Macie Richards served four aces. Halle Brown had 21 digs and Rian Barnes added 14 digs.
