The Tigers are the No. 3 seed in this year’s 3A boys basketball tournament, drawing a first-round bye and a second-round home game as the UHSAA released playoff brackets for boys and girls basketball in the 3A and 2A classifications.

Ogden (18-5) is set to host region foe and No. 14 Grantsville at 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 17. The Tigers went 2-0 against the Cowboys this season, including a 59-51 victory Friday to end the regular season.

Morgan boys drew the No. 7 seed and a second-round home game.

In 3A girls, Ogden hosts Ben Lomond in the first round.

First- and second-round games in both the 3A and 2A classifications will be staged Feb. 13-17 at home sites.

In 3A, quarterfinals onward will be Feb. 22-24 at Sevier Valley Center in Richfield.

In 2A, quarterfinals onward will be Feb. 22-24 at Southern Utah University in Cedar City.
