OGDEN — Lizzie Randall made a game-winning free throw with two seconds left to lift St. Joseph Catholic High girls basketball to a 28-27 region win Friday over American Leadership Academy.

Mimi Dewitte tallied eight points and eight rebounds for St. Joseph (4-10, 4-2 Region 17). Katelyn Martinez added six points, seven rebounds and seven steals. Randall had three points, six rebounds and four assists.

SYRACUSE 68, FARMINGTON 30

SYRACUSE — Avery Sanders led all scorers with 21 points and three 3-pointers as Syracuse beat Farmington.

Maylee Anderson and Cortnie Barker each added nine points for Syracuse (14-3, 5-0 Region 1), with Anderson making two treys.

Kate Garff paced Farmington (1-14, 0-5) with 12 points. Emilie Figlioli hit three 3-pointers for her nine points.

PLEASANT VIEW — Davis held Weber to single-digit scoring in every quarter in a region road win.

T’Maea Eteuati and Kendra Kitchen each scored 14 points for Davis (15-1, 4-1 Region 1). Kate Willard added 12 points, with Willard and Kitchen each making two 3-pointers.

Rylee Jugler led Weber (6-12, 1-4) with seven points. Lagyn Howell scored five.

CLEARFIELD — Northridge scored the game’s last four points for the win in a nip-and-tuck region contest.

BOUNTIFUL — Roy fell behind 20-6 in the first quarter and could not recover in a region loss at Viewmont (11-6, 6-2 Region 5).

Rihanna Jones led Roy (5-12, 1-7) with 13 points. Alyea Martinez and Sienna Bodily each scored seven points.

MORGAN — Morgan outscored Ogden 36-17 after halftime in a region win Thursday.

Abby Titus scored a game-high 15 points to lead Morgan (7-11, 5-1 Region 13). Eva Birkeland tallied 13 points, Ashlyn Noss scored 11 and Alexis Burt added eight points with two 3-pointers.

Izzy Nestel and Salote Tonga each scored nine points to pace Ogden (5-14, 1-5). Lily Gonzalez hit two 3-pointers for six points.

OGDEN — Dory Jenson led Ben Lomond with nine points in a home loss Thursday to South Summit.

Easton Duft paced Fremont (10-8, 2-3 Region 1) with 18 points on three 3-pointers. Hunter Hansen added 16 points and two treys. Tyler Allen netted 15 points with three 3-pointers.

SYRACUSE — Farmington led 16-6 after one quarter and didn’t let up in a region win at Syracuse.

Jaden Haskell and Malakai Tobler each scored 13 points for Farmington (11-6, 2-3 Region 1), combining for five 3-pointers. Bracken Larsen added eight points.

Josh Godfrey and Brad Trejo scored eight points apiece for Syracuse (7-11 0-4). ‬Terik Hamblin added seven points.

PLEASANT VIEW — Davis outscored Weber 21-12 in the second quarter to take control in a region road win.

Coleman Atwater led all scorers with 24 points and four assists for Davis (13-5, 4-1 Region 1), shooting 9 of 13 from the floor and 4 of 5 from 3-point range. Zach Fisher added 22 points and eight rebounds. Ike Morgan added seven assists and four steals.

Hunter Schenck led Weber (12-6, 2-3 Region 1) with 13 points on three 3-pointers, two assists and two blocks. Will Stratford added 12 points and Malachi Spencer had five rebounds.

CLEARFIELD — Northridge outscored Clearfield 19-10 in the fourth quarter to turn a 40-38 deficit into a region road win.

Josh Kitchen scored a game-high 19 points with three 3-pointers for Northridge (7-10, 6-2 Region 5). Logan Birt tallied 16 points while Cael Lake added nine points with two treys.

LAYTON — Layton Christian trailed after three quarters but outscored Payson 21-11 in the final frame for a region win.
