WASHINGTON TERRACE — Chandlyr Noble hit a two-run home run and pitched a complete game with three strikeouts as Bonneville High softball bested Logan 9-8 on Friday.

Annie Stevenson batted 3 for 4 with two doubles and three RBIs for Bonneville (1-0). Morgan Rich went 2 for 3 with a double and Ellee Summers hit three singles and drove in one.

ST. GEORGE — Box Elder scored 19 runs in the top of the third inning in a big win over Spring Creek (Nevada) in St. George tournament play.

Kennadie Blackmer struck out four for Box Elder in a three-inning perfect game and hit a two-run double. Stevie Checketts hit a two-run double and Kailee Hall added an RBI double. Kellie Malan went 2 for 3 with three RBIs.

ST. GEORGE — Box Elder gave up two runs in the fourth inning and one in the fifth in a tourney loss to Taylorsville.

Paige Baker got the only Box Elder (1-1) hit and Kailee Hall scored its run.

ST. GEORGE — Brooklyn Sackolwitz batted 2 for 2 with a solo home run and 2 RBIs to lead Syracuse past Olympus at Dixie High’s tournament

Grace Thomas went 2 for 2 with an RBI for Syracuse.

ST. GEORGE — Olivia Harker went 3 for 3 with a solo home run as Syracuse (2-0) grabbed a win over Union at Dixie High’s tourney.

KANAB — Morgan scored four runs in the top of the fourth inning to forge a 7-7 tie, then added three runs in the fifth for the win at Kanab High’s Chuck Wagon Classic.

Brigham Spens hit three doubles and drove in three for Morgan (2-1). Benjamin Harden batted 2 for 2. Ryder Waldron hit an RBI single and picked up the win in three innings of relief.

SYRACUSE 14, CANYON VIEW 14

ST. GEORGE — Syracuse played to a draw with Canyon View at the Kona Ice Classic.

Austin Burton, Dawson Raymond, and Tag Hamblin each hit a home run for Syracuse (0-1-1).

BOX ELDER 9, PAYSON 3

ST. GEORGE — Box Elder scored four runs in the fifth inning to build a 9-2 lead in a Dixie Sunshine Classic win over Payson.

Ashton Burton batted 3 for 4 and drove in one for Box Elder. Landon Golman had two hits and two RBIs. KJ Argyle scored three runs and drove in two on a single and two walks. Bosten Steacie earned the win with four hits and eight strikeouts over 5 1/3 innings.

MAPLE MTN 4, BOX ELDER 3

ST. GEORGE — Box Elder scored twice in the top of the seventh inning but left the tying run on base in a tourney loss to Maple Mountain.

Ryan Griffin batted 2 for 3 and scored two runs for Box Elder (3-1). Damon Rodriguez added two hits.

BOX ELDER 8, BEAR RIVER 3

ST. GEORGE — Box Elder took a 3-0 lead before Bear River batted and added three more runs in the fifth inning for a win at the Dixie Sunshine Classic late Thursday.

Damon Rodriguez batted 2 for 2 with two walks and scored four runs for Box Elder. Ryan Griffin went 3 for 3. Ashton Burton hit an RBI double. KJ Argyle earned the win with three hits and seven strikeouts over five innings.

Talon Marble batted 2 for 3 with a double and an RBI for Bear River. Brooks Drollinger added a double. Degan Rigby had nine strikeouts over four innings in the loss.

ST. GEORGE — Bear River scored four runs in the bottom of the fifth to tie the game but gave up three runs in the sixth in a loss to Springville at Dixie High.
