PLEASANT VIEW — Dax Rhees homered twice, the second time a two-run, walk-off dinger in the eighth inning, to send Weber High baseball to a thrilling, 18-16 victory over Clearfield in extras Thursday.

Tied 10-10 in regulation, Clearfield scored six in the top of the eighth. Weber scored its eight runs all with two outs.

Tyce Abbott hit 5 for 6 with a triple and a double for Weber (3-4). Ashton Burnett doubled twice. Rhees drove in four, and Abbott, Burnett, Gage Clark, Eastyn Barker and Aiden Rodarte all drove in two apiece.

Peyton Kotter hit 3 for 3 with a double, four RBIs and two walks for Clearield (4-5). Colt Chambers and Jake Ross each tripled, and Hudson Meyer drove in three runs.

OGDEN 6, SUMMIT ACADEMY 3

OGDEN — Kolton Rich batted 2 for 3 and drove in two as Ogden beat Summit Academy.

Diego DeLeon batted 2 for 2 with a double for Ogden (5-5). Ransom Green and Xavier Aldous each hit an RBI single. DeLeon got the win with three hits and one strikeout over two innings.

MTN RIDGE 6, FREMONT 5

PLAIN CITY — Fremont scored four runs in the bottom of the seventh inning but left the potential tying run on base in a home loss to Mountain Ridge.

Logan Penland batted 2 for 4 with a double and an RBI for Fremont (3-1). Anthony Marziale added two hits. Brant Koford hit an RBI double.

CORNER CANYON 8, ROY 0

ROY — Roy was held to two hits in a home blanking by Corner Canyon. Cade Gaskill and Kaygen Tingey each hit a single for Roy (0-7).

DAVIS 12, STANSBURY 2

KAYSVILLE — Jewel Korth batted 6 for 6 with two home runs and six RBIs to lead Davis past Stansbury.

Rayleigh Starnes batted 2 for 4 with a double and an RBI for Davis (7-2). Cambell Christensen hit a two-run triple. Hadlee Isaacs had two RBIs. Serena Roth pitched a complete game with six hits and six strikeouts over six innings.

BONNEVILLE 17, ROY 7

WASHINGTON TERRACE — Annie Stevenson homered, doubled and totaled five RBIs to lead Bonneville to a region win over Roy.

Mylee Pederson homered and drove in four runs for Bonneville (8-1, 3-0 Region 5). Kaylee McAfee went 4 for 4 with a double and drove in three. Shelbee Johnson batted 3 for 5. Chandlyr Noble pitched a complete game in the win.

Kylee Weitzel batted 2 for 3 with two doubles and an RBI for Roy (1-9, 1-2). Quincy Johnson went 2 for 3 with a double and drove in two. Mylee Gard and Delaney Jackson each doubled.

FREMONT 26, MTN CREST 25

PLAIN CITY — Fremont scored nine runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to tie the game 22-22, then scored four runs in the seventh for a walk-off win over Mountain Crest.

Kacie Howard batted 2 for 6 with a home run and four RBIs for Fremont (2-2). Audrey Cooper batted 4 for 6 with a triple, a double and drove in four. Ivee Johnsen went 4 for 6 with two doubles and three RBIs. Saige Steel hit a three-run double and got the win in relief.

CLEARFIELD 17, WOODS CROSS 0

WOODS CROSS — Freshman Brynn Nicholls batted 4 for 4 with two doubles and five RBIs as Clearfield blanked Woods Cross (0-4, 0-3 Region 5).

Rylee Kirk and Elizabeth Salazar each had two hits and two RBIs for Clearfield (3-5, 1-1 Region 5). Addyson Haddock and Natalie Brierley had two hits and one RBI apiece. Kirk earned the win with seven strikeouts and one hit in a five-inning complete game.

MORGAN 9, SOUTH SUMMIT 0

KAMAS — Joesi Kelly batted 2 for 4 with a home run, a double and two RBIs to lead Morgan past South Summit to open region play.

Kodi Remund hit a two-run homer for Morgan (6-0, 1-0 Region 13). Callie Averett and Eva Birkeland each hit an RBI double. Averett earned the win with two strikeouts and four hits over four innings.

SKYRIDGE 1, WEBER 0

LEHI — Weber gave up one run in the bottom of the seventh in a walk-off loss at Skyridge.

Moira Tinsley batted 2 for 3 for Weber (2-6). Logyn Howell, Hailey Merrill, Kendall Strasburg and Olivia Boswell each had a hit.

BOUNTIFUL 5, BOX ELDER 0

BRIGHAM CITY — Kennadie Blackmer batted 2 for 2 for Box Elder but Bountiful (7-2, 3-0 Region 5) blanked the Bees.

Alexis Hales and Justy Prichard each hit a single for Box Elder (8-2, 2-1).
