Syracuse's Joshua Godrey (13) rises for a swing against Granger's LJ Mano (11) on Friday, April 26, 2024, at Ogden High.

After an undefeated run through Region 1, Syracuse High boys volleyball was placed as the No. 7 playoff seed as the UHSAA released state tournament brackets for Class 6A and 5A on Thursday morning.

Syracuse finished 21-7 overall, including a 10-0 mark to claim the first-ever Region 1 boys volleyball trophy, losing just four sets in region play.

Bracket seeding is determined by an RPI formula that factors winning percentage and strength of schedule.

Below are the matchups for Northern Utah teams. Full brackets can be found at www.uhsaa.org.
