Prep roundup: Davis girls soccer wins 3 times in opening week; Ogden on the board

KAYSVILLE — Davis High girls soccer allowed its first goal of the season with two minutes left in Saturday morning’s match but otherwise took home its third win of 2025’s opening week.
Kate Willard scored in the 27th minute, assisted by Vivian Fries, to get Davis (3-0) on the board. Ellie Stowers put in a corner kick from Lydia Neville in the 59th minute to give the Darts cushion for a 78th-minute Olympus goal.

PLEASANT VIEW — Weber scored twice in both halves to get past Clearfield on Saturday morning.

LAYTON — Layton scored twice in the second half to defeat city rival Northridge (0-2) on Friday.
Karsyn Lindsay scored after a pinballed corner kick to get Layton (2-0) on the board. Tessa Tomney punched in a deflected shot from Sophia Barnard for the Lancers’ second goal. Quincy Reisbeck had the shutout in goal.

OGDEN — Elle Weston scored twice and freshman Whitney Fife got the clean sheet in goal as Ogden tallied its first win of the season Friday night.
Seren Gee, Bryleigh Thomas and Gwen Aardema each scored once for Ogden (1-1). Paisley Pierce, Bryleigh Thomas and Alondra Ayala each had assists.
