SALT LAKE CITY — Sofia Evans racked up seven goals — tied for second-most in a girls soccer game in Utah preps history — and one assist to lead St. Joseph Catholic girls soccer to an 8-3 region win Thursday at Rowland Hall (1-1, 0-1 Region 17).
Brooke Majewski netted once for St. Joseph (1-2, 1-0). Moira Ledon had two assists. Anysia Pinchak and Addison Doebler each assisted one score.

OGDEN — Elle Weston and Lily Gallegos each scored as Ogden blanked West Field (2-3).
Whitney Fife recorded the shutout for Ogden (3-1).

BRIGHAM CITY — Emma Nelson kept a clean sheet as Box Elder took a 2-0 lead into halftime for a home shutout of Bear River (1-3).
Taylor Nye and Olivia Saunders each scored for Box Elder (2-3). Maddison Barber and Halli Wright tallied one assist apiece.

WEST VALLEY CITY — Camilla Arroyo kept the clean sheet to lead Ben Lomond to a blanking at Granger.
