WEST JORDAN — Chase Randall and Karter Miller combined for 18 points in the fourth quarter to lead Layton to a win at Copper Hills.

Miller led Layton (3-1) with 19 points and Randall added 18. Isaac Thompson tallied nine points.

ROY 81, UNION 60

GARLAND — Boston Greenhalgh led Roy in scoring to blow out Union at the Bear River Winter Classic.

Greenhalgh netted 24 points, including 14 in the first half as Roy (4-2) led 44-32 at halftime. Jake Hamblin scored 15 points, KK Kennedy put in 11 points and Rock Speredon added 10.

LAYTON CHRISTIAN 87, OREM 58

LAYTON — Gabe Sularski and Omar Mowafak each scored 21 points and Layton Christian outscored Orem 50-24 in the second half for a big win.

Mowafak hit six 3-pointers and Sularski added three treys for Layton Christian (5-0). Joost Dalgaard and Osaigbovo Aguebor tallied 13 points apiece.

BRIGHAM CITY — Ryan Jenson led Box Elder with 12 points in a home loss to Olympus.

McKay Deem scored eight points for Box Elder (3-2) and Krew Peterson added seven.

TAYLOR — West Field led 38-36 after three quarters, then was outscored 22-14 in the final frame in a home loss to Farmington.

Drew Faddis scored a game-high 16 points to lead West Field (2-2). Daxton Laughter tallied 14 points and Cason Malan added seven.

GARLAND — Ogden fell behind 24-9 after one quarter and could not recover in a loss to Emery at the Bear River Winter Classic.

Jackson Maw led all scorers with 21 points for Ogden (1-4). Blake Weston tallied 11 points and Ryan Kirkland added 10 points.
