SYRACUSE — Coleman Atwater scored a game-high 24 points with five 3-pointers to lead Davis to a region win at Syracuse.

Croyden Christiensen added 16 points and eight rebounds for Davis (13-3, 2-1 Region 1). Bennett Wright tallied 11 points. Tradon Bessenger and JT Turley each had four assists.

Skyler Orton led Syracuse (8-8, 1-2) with 12 points. Carter Robinson and Beckham Rees each scored nine points and hauled in six rebounds.

LAYTON — Cael Lake scored 19 points with two 3-pointers to lead Northridge past Woods Cross (8-7, 3-3 Region 5) in extra time.

ROOSEVELT — Ogden led 26-23 at the half but couldn’t hold off a Union (11-6, 3-1 Region 13) rally in a region road loss.

OGDEN — A 25-7 advantage for Grantsville (9-8, 1-3 Region 13) in the second quarter was the difference and Ben Lomond couldn’t climb back from there.

Zeb Whetton totaled 15 points and nine rebounds for Ben Lomond (5-12, 0-4). Korver Van Beekum had 14 points, five rebounds and four assists. Deshawn Holland added 12 points and four assists.

PROVO — Layton Christian continued its tear through Utah County teams with a lopsided road win.

BLUFFDALE — Fabiana Lopez scored 14 points with four assists and six steals to lead Layton Christian to a region win Thursday at Summit Academy (5-11, 2-2 Region 14).

Ruby Knight-Paris tallied 11 points and eight rebounds for Layton Christian (11-7, 3-0). Penelope Arroyo added 10 points, two 3-pointers and eight rebounds. Ava Smith hauled in nine rebounds.

OGDEN — Union (6-9, 2-2 Region 13) played strong defense to claim a road win Thursday at Ogden.
