Senior • CF

Talbot, voted Region 1’s MVP, put together region-highs in home runs (seven), runs (45), RBIs (40) and batting average (.456) for the Region 1 champs.

HOLDEN POTTER

Bear River

Senior • P/INF

Potter (2.06 ERA) finished his prep career with a 7-2 record and 79 total strikeouts through 54 1/3 innings pitched. Bear River’s leadoff hitter (.330) finished with 27 RBIs, eight doubles and one triple on 32 hits.

LOGAN FENN

Clearfield

Senior • OF

Fenn finished the season hitting .417 with 35 hits, 30 RBIs and two home runs.

WALLY GRANT

Davis

Senior • 1B/P

Davis’ team captain and reigning All-Area POY, Grant hit .366 with 30 runs, 30 RBIs and eight doubles. Grant (2.26 ERA) also went a perfect 3-0 on the bump with 38 strikeouts to 13 walks.

BRANT KOFORD

Fremont

Senior • 3B/P

With a .438 batting average, Koford strung together 34 RBIs, 11 doubles, and six home runs in his senior campaign. On the mound, Koford finished the season 3-1 with a 4.63 ERA.

CHASE JONES

Fremont

Senior • P/DH

Jones pulled double duty as Fremont’s Game 1 starter and designated hitter. Jones shoved for a 6-2 record, 2.53 ERA and 58 total strikeouts. At the plate, Jones swung .350 for 27 RBI, four doubles, three home runs and a triple.

FISH MANNING

Layton

Manning finished his senior season hitting .361 with 24 RBI, five doubles, three triples and two home runs.

LUKE BAUERLE

Morgan

Junior • INF

Bauerle piled 35 RBIs on 43 hits for the Trojans on the way to a .453 batting average and .514 on-base percentage.

JON OLSEN

Northridge

Senior • SS/P

Olsen produced 40 RBIs, 15 doubles, four home runs and two triples at the plate for the Knights while batting .402. Olsen also picked up four wins on the mound with a 3.70 ERA.

TYCE ABBOTT

West Field

Senior • OF/P

Batting .417, Abbott picked up All-Region 11 honors as a dual-threat option. Abbott drew 36 runs, 22 RBIs, 16 stolen bases, 14 doubles, two home runs and a triple. On the mound, Abbott struck out 14 in 17 2/3 innings.
