Boys soccer playoffs: Four Northern Utah squads earn first-round byes
6A/5A/4A first-round matches begin Friday at home sites

Clearfield's Samuel Hadley (19) and Roy's Asher Hunt joust for possession on Tuesday, March 25, 2025, in Roy.No. 5 Davis, No. 6 Weber, No. 7 Fremont, and No. 11 Layton all received first-round byes in the 6A state boys soccer tournament bracket, which the UHSAA released alongside the 5A and 4A pictures on Wednesday.
All first-round matchups begin at 4 p.m. Friday. First-, second- and quarterfinal-round matchups are contested at home sites. Semifinal matches are May 19-20 at Zions Bank Stadium in Herriman. Championship matches are contested May 22 at America First Field in Sandy.
Box Elder (3-14), Bonneville (2-14), and West Field (2-15) missed the cut in the 5A and 4A brackets.
