The No. 3 seed Darts will host a region rematch against No. 14 Syracuse, a team it swept in the regular season, in a second-round “super regional” series next week.

All but four of the 18 teams in 6A bye to that round. As the No. 18 seed, Weber travels to Copper Hills for a first-round, best-of-three series. Game 1 is Friday; Games 2 and 3, if 3 is necessary, come Saturday.

In the 5A bracket, no Northern Utah teams were among the eight that byed to the second round in the 24-team setup. Clearfield is the top-placed local team with the No. 13 seed.
