Walkenhorst submitted his resignation to the school last Thursday, and the position became available via the Weber School District’s job board on Monday morning.

Bonneville finished 0-10 (0-6 Region 5) in Walkenhorst’s lone season following the departure of former longtime coach Jantz Afuvai, who stepped away from in March after 12 years at the helm to concentrate on family and retirement.
