Near the top of 5A, the Silverwolves (26-2) are undoubtedly 6A favorites behind top seed Woods Cross. With a first-round bye, Fremont plays the winner of No. 15 Payson and No. 18 Brighton in the second round.

The first round of 5A includes five Region 5 members, including a backyard battle of No. 22 Roy at No. 11 Northridge.

Syracuse, the No. 5 seed in 6A and the highest seed among Region 1 members, joins No. 9 Weber, No. 13 Davis, and No. 15 Layton with first-round byes to begin the postseason.

All first-round matches (Oct. 24) are contested at home sites. All subsequent matches will be played at the UCCU Center at UVU from Oct. 29-30 in Orem.
