The Utah High School Activities Association is enlisting a new stat-keeping platform, AthletesGoLive, for baseball and softball beginning with the 2026-27 school year.
The platform’s official website suggests that stats and scores will be available to everyone — coaches, players, media, and yes, fans — through its mobile app and online. AthletesGoLive, a Georgia-based company formed in 2019, is also an official partner of MaxPreps, the official statistics database for every UHSAA member school.
“The NFHS made (AthletesGoLive) its national partner a few months ago, and with that, we just jumped on board for our championship segment,” UHSAA spokesman Jeff Cluff said.
Currently, most baseball and softball teams/coaches use GameChanger, launched in 2010 and later acquired by Dick’s Sporting Goods in 2016, which typically charges family, fans and media a subscription fee to access box scores, live streams and other features.
As of this spring, most teams collect stats in-person and make them available via MaxPreps for the public roughly 1-2 days later. With the UHSAA’s newly introduced platform, these stats would be available in real time during all state postseason events for baseball and softball.
