OUTLOOK

Davis returns seven starters across the board, including the No. 1 prospect in Utah’s class of 2027 in Oklahoma commit Bode Sparrow at wide receiver and defensive back. Fellow target and Utah commit Jaxton Itaaehau lends another set of hands for a quarterback not named Tradon Bessinger, now at Iowa. Whoever wins his old job will enjoy two returning offensive linemen in Krew Plyer and Noah Bingham. Defensively, the Darts return a strong linebacker duo in Dexter Frasure and Bridger Young. Cam Evans returns up front. Sparrow led the state’s secondaries last year with seven picks. The regular season kicks off with a marquee home opener against Corner Canyon, and another pride-filled test at former region foe Fremont in Week 2.
