OUTLOOK

Nate Tuatagaloa and the Silverwolves delivered a second consecutive region title in its Region 5 debut, and with it the cost of numerous seniors, including Michigan-bound Salesi Moa and 2,744-yard passer Manase Tuatagaloa. Fremont returns zero starters to skill positions and instead leans on the framework of senior Cooper Tumanuvao and junior Ryan Connell to build its offensive line with a long list of potential job winners as we approach fall camp. Calvin Cooper, who competed 29 passes for 315 yards and four touchdowns as a junior, is the man to beat at quarterback. Aokuso Selevae and Porter Hales are the names to watch out of the backfield as Fremont attempts to replace 2,336 rushing yards. Defensively, linebacker duo Aisa Tuatagaloa and Kenden Green return steady leadership to the middle row, and senior safety Landon Palmer led the team with 106 total tackles as a junior. Connell and Jak Masters return snaps to the defensive line with multiple jobs open there, too. There’s lots of snaps to fill, but the team’s properly followed up two senior classes with region titles since 2024. Managing a third ultimately falls on how quickly the Silverwolves can figure it out despite a brutal opening three weeks.
