Each week, the Standard sports staff recognizes male and female athletes for their weekly award based on their performance in the previous week’s games or events.

Standard Stars are not limited to team sports and are open to a wide array of extracurriculars and activities.

Team: Boys Basketball

Year: Sophomore

Week in review: Hansen led Fremont (6-14) with 19 points, four rebounds, three assists and two steals in a 58-53 home loss to West Field on Jan. 28.

MADISYN JOHNSON

School: Box Elder

Team: Girls Soccer

Year: Senior

Week in review: Johnson signed with Mohave College, a two-year college in Bullhead City, Arizona, to continue her soccer and academic careers last week. Johnson is a member of Box Elder’s track, lacrosse, wrestling and soccer programs.
