Girls basketball playoffs: Morgan, Ogden get first-round rematch in 3A bracket
Ben Lomond faces top seed Delta in first-round 3A matchup

Ogden High celebrates a basket against Morgan High during a region girls basketball contest on Thursday, Feb. 5, 2026, at Ogden High School in Ogden.The UHSAA revealed the first girls basketball state championship brackets on Saturday morning, and the 3A tourney paints an interesting rematch between Region 12 champion Morgan and Ogden in the opening round of postseason play.
Morgan, the No. 6 seed, will host No. 11 Ogden in a first-round, home-site contest to decide which of the Region 12 foes carry on to Southern Utah in Cedar City, where all subsequent rounds will be held from Feb. 19-21 at the America First Event Center.
It’ll be the third meeting between Morgan coach Sterling Mack and Ogden coach Andy Blodgett this season, and the matchup will come roughly a week after the Trojans (13-10) played senior spoil to the Tigers (11-12).
All first-round tournament games will be contested at home sites. In the 4A tournament, quarterfinals on will be contested Feb. 18-21 at the Dee Events Center at Weber State University in Ogden.
The 6A, 5A and 1A girls basketball brackets will be released on Saturday, Feb. 14.

First round (Feb. 11): No. 20 Bear River (9-14) at No. 13 Judge Memorial (16-7), 7 p.m.
3A PLAYOFF
First round (Feb. 14): No. 16 Ben Lomond (4-19) at No. 1 Delta (19-2), 1 p.m.; No. 11 Ogden (11-12) at No. 6 Morgan (13-10), 1 p.m.; No. 12 Manti (5-18) at No. 5 Layton Christian (13-9), 1 p.m.
