After Sky View (1-3, 0-1 Region 11) took a 7-0 lead, Wilkerson and Braegger connected for a 46-yard score to pull Bear River (3-1, 1-0) to a 7-7 tie. Wilkerson found Glaiden Behrens for a 14-yard score and a 14-10 halftime lead.

Rigdon Vonk caught a Wilkerson pass in the flat for a 3-yard touchdown that put the Bears ahead 21-10 with 5:04 left in the third quarter. After the Bobcats cut the lead to 21-17, Behrens found himself wide open behind the defense and took a Wilkerson dime 78 yards to paydirt.

Sky View took a fourth-quarter lead on a 35-yard pass and a 1-yard run with 1:13 left in the game. The Bears drove the field and Wilkerson heaved a rainbow off his back foot that Braegger grabbed, unmolested in the end zone after the Sky View defender fell down.

DAVIS 27, ALTA 6

SANDY — Bode Sparrow scored all three Davis touchdowns and the Darts handed Alta its first loss in Paden Toula’s first start at quarterback.

Sparrow caught a 23-yard touchdown from Toula in the second quarter, added a 1-yard rushing score just before halftime, and returned a kickoff 96 yards for a touchdown with 7:57 left in the third quarter.

Toula finished 15 of 30 for 184 yards, one TD and three interceptions. Five of those balls went to Jaxton Itaaehau for 87 yards. Kysen Gallegos and Briggs Taylor each rushed for 44 yards, and Toula added 18 rushing yards.

Dexter Frasure totaled 13 tackles for Davis (2-2). Ben Dorius added 11 tackles, including two for loss. Bridger Young had one interception as the Darts limited Alta (3-1) to 3.1 yards per play, helping overcome the three giveaways.

ST. JOSEPH 35, PANGUITCH 6

PANGUITCH — Ryan Castaneda rushed nine times for 101 yards and two touchdowns as St. Joseph won at Panguitch (2-2, 2-2 8-Player).

Castaneda opened the scoring for St. Joseph (2-2, 2-2) with a 13-yard run midway through the first quarter. With 36 seconds left in the first half, Izaiah Herbert returned an interception 62 yards for a pick-six and the Jayhawks led 14-0 at the half.

St. Joseph blocked a punt out of halftime and Ricardo Hernandez returned it 28 yards for a score. Keenan Campbell connected with Herbert for a 13-yard scoring strike, then Castaneda capped the Jayhawk scoring on a 6-yard run with 1:27 left in the third quarter.

St. Joseph’s defense posted six sacks.

LAYTON CHRISTIAN 50, EAST 0

SALT LAKE CITY — Chris Munroe rushed for four touchdowns to lead Layton Christian to a mercy-rule win at East.

Munroe scored on runs of 6 and 4 yards, then Synic Harvey took a Colton Johns pass 12 yards to the end zone to give Layton Christian (4-0) a 21-0 lead. Harvey returned an interception 50 yards for a pick-six, and the Eagles led 28-0 after one quarter.

Munroe added two 1-yard touchdown runs in the second quarter, giving LCA a 42-0 halftime lead. In the third quarter, Jahmi Harrison-Bismillah scored on a 10-yard run, then Mosese Reeves rushed for a two-point conversion for the final margin. The mercy rule ended the game when the third quarter hit zeroes.

RIGBY-ID 28, SYRACUSE 14

RIGBY, Idaho — Kao Prom rushed for two touchdowns but Syracuse gave up three unanswered touchdowns to conclude the game in a loss at Rigby (Idaho).

Prom scored on a 3-yard run to give Syracuse (1-3) a 7-0 lead. Rigby tied the game on a 70-yard run. Prom’s 26-yard rushing touchdown put Syracuse back ahead. The Trojans answered with a 23-yard touchdown pass and the game was tied 14-14 at the half. Rigby scored two rushing touchdowns in the second half to pull away.
