Raptors postponed in Colorado Springs again Friday

By Brett Hein - | Sep 3, 2021

The Ogden Raptors and Rocky Mountain Vibes had a game postponed Friday for the second straight night in Colorado Springs.

Details are scant, but after a Wednesday’s game was finished in a downpour and Thursday’s game was postponed by rain, weather is the presumed culprit.

Friday’s game will be played Saturday. With one game of the six-game series completed and five left to play, here’s how the schedule will play out:

Saturday: doubleheader of two seven-inning games starting at 4:30 p.m.

Sunday: doubleheader of two seven-inning games starting at 1:30 p.m.

Monday: series finale at 12:30 p.m.

After a day off Tuesday, the Raptors will host the Boise Hawks at Lindquist Field from Sept. 8-10 in the final three games of the regular season.

Then, Ogden will host either Boise or Grand Junction on Saturday, Sept. 11, at Lindquist Field in the Pioneer League’s South Division one-game playoff to determine who will represent the South in the championship series.
