The Rocky Mountain Vibes piled up runs in a 14-4 win over the Ogden Raptors on Sunday at Lindquist Field, bringing an end to the first half of the Pioneer League season.

The Raptors finish the first half with a 29-19 record, posting a winning mark against four of five opponents played (Boise 7-2, Northern Colorado 8-4, Rocky Mountain 4-2, Idaho Falls 5-4, Grand Junction 5-7).

Reese Alexiades hit a three-run homer in the fifth inning to cut Ogden’s deficit to 6-4 but the Vibes ran through seven Ogden pitchers on the way to victory.

Pat Adams, Dakota Conners and Brandon Bohning each totaled two hits for Ogden. The Raptors did not record a hit over the game’s final 3 1/3 innings.

Greyson Fletcher got the win for Rocky Mountain, allowing 11 hits in 5 2/3 innings but limiting damage to four runs. Luis Navarro, Mike Annone and Ethan Lopez each totaled three hits.

Ogden has Monday off and begins second-half play in a road series at the North Division’s first-half champion, the Missoula Paddleheads, from July 19-24.
