Ogden's Reese Alexiades watches his batted ball in Game 2 of the Pioneer League championship series against Billings on Monday, Sept. 18, 2023, in Billings, Mont.

Mr. Ogden Raptor has concluded his third season with all the hardware.

The Ogden outfielder has been named Pioneer Baseball League MVP for the 2023 season after helping the Raptors win the league championship, the league announced Monday.

Alexiades led the league with 29 home runs this season. He hit .326 with a .433 on-base percentage, driving in 90 runs (seventh in the league) and stealing 29 bases (also seventh). With 29 homers, 31 doubles and four triples, he led the PBL in extra-base hits at 64.

Alexiades, who has 222 regular-season games in a Raptors uniform, joins closer Dan Kubiuk as the league’s reliever of the year. Kubiuk was 15 for 15 in save opportunities and allowed two earned runs in 35 2/3 innings for an ERA of 0.50. He struck out 50 batters and walked nine.

Ogden rallied from a Game 1 loss to take the South Division playoff series 2-1 over Rocky Mountain, then swept Billings 2-0 in the championship series.
