Ogden Raptors player Chase Valentine jogs home to score in a Pioneer League game Friday, June 12, 2026, at Lindquist Field in Ogden.

The Ogden Raptors made the plays to claim a win in front of a big crowd Friday night, highlighting the team’s 3-3 series split with the visiting Great Falls Voyagers (9-15).

A crowd of 5,789 fans on the first Weber State University night saw the Raptors (13-11) come from three runs down in late innings to win 10-9 on Friday at Lindquist Field.

Trailing 9-6, Cole Jordan socked a two-run homer in the sixth inning to get the home team close, then Tyler Ganus hit a bases-loaded single in the eighth to score two and put the Raptors ahead by the winning margin.

The rally helped pick up usually stout starter Nico Saltaformaggio after he gave up seven earned runs in six innings. Relievers Dylan Gardner and Kaden Kneip allowed just one Great Falls hit in the final three innings. Jordan and Carmine Lane each drove in three runs at the plate.

The crowd was treated to a drone show, the first of its kind for Lindquist Field, after the game.

That Friday victory gave Ogden 10 wins in its last 11 contests, but the Raptors couldn’t claim a series win over the Voyagers, who entered the series with a 6-12 record, after surrendering a huge lead Sunday afternoon in the finale.

Leading 14-7 through seven innings Sunday, reliever Nolan Ficklin walked three of the five batters he faced to start the eighth, then Kyle Lewis gave up seven runs (one earned) on his ledger over two innings.

The Raptors still led 14-10 going into the ninth, but Trey Cruz homered off Lewis to get a new rally going and Kyle Schmack socked a three-run homer to put the visitors up 16-14.

Coughing up the 14-7 lead undid two performances for the Raptors. Chase Valentine batted 4 for 6 with a home run, a triple and two doubles, driving in five runs for Ogden, while reliever Jose Ballista allowed one run on three hits in 4 2/3 innings.

After an off-day Monday, the Raptors remain at home for three more games while hosting the RedPocket Mobiles from Tuesday through Thursday at Lindquist Field.

The RedPocket Mobiles are a corporate-sponsored barnstorming team that has no home and plays zero home games, helping the league balance a 12-team schedule after three Colorado-based teams moved or folded after the 2025 season.

Tuesday, the Mobiles will debut a “color rush” uniform in Ogden, designed by Shark Tank entrepreneur Daymond John, to kick off a giveaway that opens that day, according to a news release. Grand-prize winners of the giveaway will win a full year of RedPocket Mobile service, a signed “color rush” jersey, a team merch bundle, and a 30-minute phone call with John.

The company says the giveaway runs through late June and details will be available online at www.redpocket.com.

Starting at $4.32/week.
