It’s time to fire up the grills and hear that leather pop.

Baseball is back in Ogden and the Raptors are welcoming in the 2026 season with the team’s annual FanFest, opening the gates to Lindquist Field for a night of ball before the Pioneer Baseball League season reaches first pitch.

The 2026 FanFest begins at 5:30 p.m. Saturday. Admission is free. Concession and merchandise stands will be open for fans to see what’s new, grab a bite or snag some new gear for the season.

The night begins with an intersquad scrimmage featuring this year’s Raptors players. After the scrimmage, players will mingle with fans in the stands. That’s a preview of what’s to come during the season, the team says.

In 2025, Raptors players greeted fans at the gate and stood in the stands for the national anthem but, in 2026, players will be in the stands during games to participate in between-innings activities and greet fans, the team said in a news release.

After the intersquad scrimmage, the fan home run derby returns. For $20, any fan can get 10 swings to hit a home run. Home runs hit fair out of the park win two season tickets, the team says.

Typically, derby participants must bring their own bats and helmets, and sign a participation waiver. For more information, call 801-393-2400 or email general manager Trevor Wilson at trever@ogden-raptors.com.

Additional perks await season ticket holders, the team says. The Raptors say season tickets will be available to pick up at the front gate Saturday evening; those who do will get a wristband for food at Hardball Cafe in the upper-right-field corner during FanFest.

Ogden’s 2026 season begins on the road with a six-game series at the Boise Hawks from May 19-24. The Raptors make their home debut with an opener at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 26, to start a six-game homestand with the Missoula Paddleheads. The home opener will feature fireworks after the game.

Starting at $4.32/week.
